Award

Maria Pykälä will receive a doctoral prize at HEC Lausanne’s upcoming Annual Doctoral Event in November, recognizing outstanding work in the social sciences and humanities. This prize specifically recognizes the outstanding scientific contribution of her dissertation, Social Learning in Complex Systems: Experiments and Simulations, completed in the Department of Organizational Behavior under the supervision of Prof. Charles Efferson. The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 5, 2026.
